A wonderful Quote and a little explosion (very long sorry)

I hope you don't mind Michelle. I borrowed this from your blog!

"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenk's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someones garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."-Marjorie Hinckley

Okay now story time! Today I had a couple sick children in my daycare, and had not been in the basement since earlier this morning. So when all had departed to their homes, I came down to check my email and pay some bills. I got to the bottom step and smelled something mysterious and not good. (I am surprised that doesn't happen more often) So I started my search... Cleaned up the toys and found nothing. I tried smelling all over the room but no source! So I decided it was time to clean the carpets and the couch. It took a long time finding a lot of surprises in the couch. Keira was excited, so many small toys she had thought were gone, were found! lol But still no source. Then I got the Carpet Shampooer all ready and began the 2 hour job. I filled and emptied the machine at least ten times. and was just beginning the hallway, which was my last area, when the shampooer exploded! I mean smoke, no flames, but it was a very loud "POP!" Oh and the smell! so I rushed it up the stairs and out the back door with wet feet and carried it to the road. My feet were frozen! Then I called my volunteer firefighter husband. "Get it out!" he said... DUH! lol "Air out the room" Again, DUH... lol Anyway so it is awaiting its Departure on the big green truck to Shampooer Heaven.

I really hope you enjoy this story, it is making me laugh as I type it! And who doesn't need a laugh?
